Pesto Recipe

1 bunch fresh Basil stems removed (about two cups packed leaves)

3 TB pine nuts

1 TB olive oil

~2 garlic cloves 

~1/4 tsp salt

2 TB water 

1/2 cup + 2 TB grated Parmesan cheese

Combine all in food processor (or crush and blend with a mortar and pestle).  I sometimes add a bit more salt and garlic but prepare by recipe first and taste test before adjusting.

Boil the water for your pasta and . . . enjoy!
